Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Raleigh is seeking an assistant to Physicians, RNs and Radiology Technicians to support patient care and operating procedures. You will assist with pre‑op tasks, sterile preparation, and patient transport, while maintaining a clean, organized procedure room.

Responsibilities include assisting with positioning, prepping for surgery, and helping the physician during procedures. Qualifications include a High School Diploma, CPR, and 1–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ related experience preferred.
• Hospital or operating room skills preferred.
• Knowledge of instrument sterilization techniques.
• Knowledge of PPE to be utilized when operating Radiology systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients to the pre‑op area and take initial vital signs.
• Assist in preparing the patient for surgical procedures by positioning, shaving and prepping.
• Assist the Physician with procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.
• Assemble and remove instruments, utensils, equipment, gloves and linens used in the case.
• Clean the procedure room between patients and transport patients as needed.
