Job summary

AdventHealth Arden, NC is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant to support OBGYN, Internal Medicine and Family Medicine clinics. You will travel as needed to cover staffing and maintain smooth office flow.

You will prepare patients and equipment, document results, assist with exams, manage inventory and ensure policy compliance. Requires HS Diploma and BLS with CMA/CMAC/RMA/CCMA or other MA credential; strong English communication and computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travels as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support clinic operations.
• Maintains education requirements and demonstrates competency through annual tests.
• Prepares patients and equipment for treatment and documents results.
• Maintains OSHA compliance and safety policies.
• Provides comprehensive care during office visits and documents care gaps.
• Maintains confidentiality of information.
• Supports staff by assisting patients, visitors, and co-workers.
• Performs clinical intake including screenings, vitals and history.
• Assists with minor procedures and documents results.
