Job summary

HCA HealthONE Esprit OB/GYN Center is seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant to provide frontline clinical support and administrative duties in a busy OB/GYN setting. The role requires at least one year of direct patient care experience and an active Medical Assistant certification (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA or NCRMA, or ABR-OE credentials).

Qualifications

• One year of Medical Assisting or direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
• Must hold Medical Assistant Certification (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, NCRMA, ABR-OE).
• If recently graduated, must obtain certification within 60 days of employment or within one year if already employed.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage patient appointments.
• Check-in and check-out patients.
• Enter charges and payments; verify insurance and demographics.
• Take patient histories and vital signs; prepare exam rooms.
• Assist with minor procedures and surgeries; collect specimens as needed.
