Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a PRN Medical Office Specialist to support physician offices across the region. You will handle patient intake, testing, medications, and care gap closure while ensuring safety and compliance in a fast-paced setting.

You’ll use patient data and internal resources to advocate for patients, coordinate care, and maintain documentation in the practice system. A High School Diploma and BLS CPR are required, CMA/CMAC or CMA-like credentials are necessary for eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Work Experience: 1+ year of related work experience [Preferred]
• Licenses and Certifications: BLS CPR required; CMA/CMAC/CM A/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA depending on role [Required]

Responsibilities

• Provide whole care to patients during office visits, including intake, testing, medications, and closing care gaps.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and safety processes across the office.
• Prepare patients and equipment, initiate testing, and document results in the system.
