Formación

• High school diploma or GED required and Medical Assistant education or equivalent.
• Completion of accredited Medical Assistant training program preferred.
• Ability to meet Oregon facility policies and scope of practice.
• Knowledge of vital signs, infection prevention, confidentiality, and safety procedures.
• Ability to recognize changes in patient condition and notify licensed staff.
• Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and time-management skills.
• Onboarding, assessments, background checks, and screenings required.
• Reliable transportation to assigned facilities in Portland, OR.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain and document vital signs and patient information.
• Assist with patient intake, room preparation, and data collection.
• Observe patients and promptly report concerns to nursing staff.
• Prepare examination areas and assist with routine procedures.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as trained.
• Maintain accurate records in electronic health record systems.
• Support patient positioning, transfers, and mobility as allowed.
