Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our Plano and McKinney centers in a temporary PRN role, 8am–4pm. You will operate Mammography equipment to image patients for diagnostic purposes while delivering compassionate patient support and clear explanations of procedures.

You must be ARRT registered, AMA-trained, and state-licensed if required, with CPR and MQSA CEU compliance. Prior Mammography experience and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered technologist in good standing
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiography
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
• CPR certification
• Must be able to perform Mammography procedures independently
• Certification in imaging specialty
• Continuing CEUs as required by MQSA or state
• Preferred: bilingual

Responsibilities

• Operate Mammography equipment to produce diagnostic images with patient-centered care
• Explain procedures and prepare patients, including positioning
• Perform routine and advanced Mammography imaging with minimal supervision
• Adjust scan parameters and apply dose reduction techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records in RIS
• Keep work area clean and compliant with safety standards
• Support department with protocol updates and training as needed
