Job summary

TOPS Comprehensive Breast Centers, Willowbrook in Texas is seeking a skilled PRN Mammography Tech to perform digital screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and diagnostic accuracy. Required: ARRT (R), Mammography (M), and a Texas MRT license.

You will maintain imaging records, collaborate with radiologists, and stay current on best practices while meeting MQSA and state regulations. CPR (BLS) is required; strong new graduates will be considered.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT (R) certification and Mammography (M) certification is required.
• Texas MRT license is required.
• CPR certification (BLS) is required.
• Strong new graduates will be considered with relevant clinical preparation.

Responsibilities

• Perform digital screening and diagnostic mammograms according to physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Ensure high image quality while minimizing patient exposure to radiation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records within the EMR system.
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate support to patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist with patient scheduling and exam preparation as needed.
• Ensure compliance with ACR, FDA, MQSA, and state regulations.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality, reporting any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with radiologists and the clinical team to support workflow and diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain continuing education to stay current on mammography best practices.
