Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Mammography Technologist to operate imaging equipment and produce diagnostic mammography images. You will position patients, explain procedures, and ensure imaging meets professional standards while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires ARRT registration, state licensure if applicable, CPR certification, and MQSA continuing education. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday, with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform mammography procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.
• Continuing CEUs in modality as required by MQSA or state-specific.

Responsibilities

• Operate Mammography scanner(s) to produce diagnostic images with patient-centered care.
• Position patients and explain procedures to ensure proper imaging.
• Adjust scan parameters and apply dose reduction techniques as appropriate.
• Maintain patient records in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Support Mammography department operations and assist with training of new team members.
