Job summary

Vail Health is seeking a PRN Mammography Technologist to perform breast imaging exams and follow MQSA/ACR guidelines. The role supports coverage during vacations and peak times, and offers a 16% PRN differential.

You will operate mammography and stereotactic equipment, guide patients, and ensure quality control. Qualified candidates have ARRT Mammography, BLS, and 1 year of healthcare experience preferred; ABUS/stereotactic biopsy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• ARRT Mammography (M) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
• ABUS and stereotactic biopsy experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast imaging exams including mammography, ABUS, stereotactic breast biopsy and ultrasound biopsy.
• Follow MQSA and ACR guidelines for breast imaging.
• Provide coverage during vacations and high patient volume periods.
• Ensure quality control and safe equipment operation.
• Educate patients about procedures and continuity of care.
• Review and present imaging to radiologist with accuracy.
• Assist with department workflow and supply management.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional conduct.
