Job summary

University Health’s Imaging team is seeking a Mammography Technologist (PRN) to deliver high-quality diagnostic mammography while adhering to MQSA and ACR standards. The technologist will work closely with the Lead Interpreting Physician to ensure patient safety and optimal image quality.

The role includes training new staff, supporting additional imaging modalities as needed, and traveling to multiple University Health locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited radiology program.
• ARRT certification; active registration required.
• Willingness to perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as needed.
• Ongoing MQSA CE and experience requirements.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with imaging systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist patients.
• Willingness to travel to multiple University Health locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammographic imaging following ACR and department protocols.
• Participate in quality assurance and MQSA EQUIP program.
• Collaborate with the Lead Interpreting Physician and team to ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Assist with training and evaluation of new mammography staff.
• Support additional imaging modalities as needed at assigned locations.
