Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Good Samaritan – Bethany in Brainerd, MN provides nursing care to residents in long-term care under supervision. This PRN/on-call role requires flexibility across day, evening and night shifts and adherence to care plans.

You will document care, administer medications, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and support resident and family education while maintaining confidentiality and high standards of quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an active LPN license.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• Maintain licensure and complete required CEU/training.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to residents in LTC per care plan.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes; report changes to supervising nurse.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team and communicate effectively with residents and families.
