Job summary

Good Samaritan – Bethany in Brainerd, Minnesota, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide professional nursing care in a long-term care setting. This PRN/on-call role offers day, evening and night shifts with weekend rotation and incentive opportunities.

You will administer medications, document care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support residents’ health and safety. Minnesota LPN licensure is required; associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Must have a Minnesota LPN license (unencumbered).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document outcomes.
• Contribute to assessment and care planning with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain confidentiality and effective communication with residents, families and staff.
