Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Good Samaritan – Bethany in Brainerd, MN provides professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision, performing assessments, administering medications, and implementing care plans.

This PRN/on-call position offers day, evening and night shifts, with a $1.25 shift incentive for hours 6pm-6am and an additional weekend incentive, along with education assistance and daily earnings access.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an LPN license.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• Must have completed supervised clinical experience or 400 hours as LPN.
• Maintain required competencies and CEU/training annually.
• Multi-state licensure privileges preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes.
• Communicate with residents, families and the care team.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policy.
