Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to provide direct nursing care to residents and to oversee daily nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. The role ensures adherence to federal, state, and local standards as well as facility policies under the direction of Nursing leadership.

Key responsibilities include directing nursing staff, maintaining documentation, coordinating shifts, and participating in quality assurance activities to uphold high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with policies and procedures.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure it reflects current practice.
• Plan shifts and coordinate services with other staff.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Receive and transcribe physicians' orders to patient records and charts.
• Maintain daily census and relevant charts.
• Participate in quality assurance and facility surveys.
