Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a nursing supervisor to direct day-to-day activities of nursing assistants, oversee policy adherence, and coordinate resident care plans. The role demands leadership, strong communication, and the ability to review procedures and discharge plans with a focus on quality assurance.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, charting oversight, medication administration assurance, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of resident care.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
  • Current unencumbered license to practice nursing in the state.
  • CPR certification and continuing education requirements met.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and supervise nursing services and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with policies.
  • Review and update Nursing Service Procedures Manual and discharge plans as needed.
  • Lead shift planning, staffing, and coordination of services and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and coordinate with surveys by government agencies.
  • Oversee charting, medication administration, and nursing documentation for accuracy.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance evaluations for nursing staff.
  • Ensure patient care plans align with resident care goals and quality standards.
