The position requires directing daily nursing operations, updating policies, and coordinating resident care plans, with emphasis on accurate charting and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Direct nursing supervision of nursing assistants and day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day functions of nursing assistants.
• Ensure adherence to facility policies and procedures.
• Review department policies and update as needed.
• Plan shifts, services, and activities with staff.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Ensure compliance with nursing procedures.
• Document reports and recommendations for shift activities.
• Coordinate nursing services with resident care requirements.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed.
• Complete accident/incident reports and charting.
• Maintain Daily Census and related records.
• Perform routine charting and medical record entries.
