Job summary

Bronson Battle Creek Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the General Medical Unit on a PRN/Part-time basis. The LPN will work under an RN, providing prescribed medical care to patients, and may assist with medications and IV therapy as per protocol.

The position requires a Michigan LPN license, BLS, and completion of an accredited LPN program. Experience in healthcare is preferred and the unit emphasizes teamwork and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the State of Michigan and have BLS certification by end of orientation.
• High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited LPN program are required.
• Experience in a health care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care within the LPN scope under RN supervision.
• Assist RN in data collection, patient transport, and responding to patient requests.
• May pass medications and administer IV therapy following policies.
• Maintain patient safety and charting; manage equipment and supplies.
• Support patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort.
