Job summary

Three Trails Behavioral Hospital in Independence, MO is seeking a compassionate Licensed Therapist PRN to provide high-quality mental health services to individuals, families, and groups. The role emphasizes client-centered care, ethical practice, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include providing therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, maintaining documentation, monitoring progress, and coordinating with community resources.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Active, unrestricted LMFT, LPC, or LCSW licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and clinical documentation skills.
• Experience in behavioral health or related field preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to pick up weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions
• Conduct client assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and organizational standards
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and community resources
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards
• Participate in case consultations, supervision, and team meetings
