Millwood Hospital in Arlington, TX, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a dedicated PRN Inpatient Therapist for our Kids unit. The role requires a strong mental health counseling background and a license, delivering evidence-based psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and family-focused care in an inpatient setting.

Formación

• Master's Degree in Social Work or clinical field required.
• 1–3 years experience in a psychiatric health care facility preferred; direct family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills expected.
• State licensure required: LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, LMSW or LCSW.
• CPR and CPI training must be completed prior to starting work; competency exam may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations; develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using CBT, psychodynamic, art and behavioral modalities.
• Manage crises with effective crisis management techniques to ensure patient safety.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for care, Case management, discharge planning, and accurate HIPAA-compliant documentation.
