Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to cover in-house registry coverage for PTO and schedule gaps. The role involves evaluating and treating patients with physical impairments, while maintaining documentation and collaboration with the care team.

The position requires 3 years in inpatient rehab, an active IL license, and BLS. It is a 0.03 FTE/PRN on-call role across network locations including Wheaton and nearby sites.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Active Illinois therapy license to practice.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete documentation per hospital policy and submit charges promptly.
• Provide PT evaluations, modalities and treatments per policies and procedures.
• Set functional goals aligned with patient level and discharge plan.
• Supervise PT assistants and students as applicable.
• Maintain safety, equipment, and treatment area; manage workload.
