Job summary

ATI Worksite Solutions in Middle River, MD is seeking an Injury Prevention Specialist for full-time coverage. You will develop on-site injury prevention programs, assess employee health, and coach to reduce risk. New grads are welcome and a competitive salary plus benefits are provided.

The role offers collaboration with industry partners, access to ATI Academy for ongoing learning, and a schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with 40 hours per week expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in athletic training or related field; PTA with licensure or degree in exercise science/kinesiology/allied health.
• Discipline-specific license or certification as appropriate.
• Basic Life Support and AED certification.
• BOC certified or eligible to sit for BOC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing with office and industrial clients to assess employee health status and create an individualized plan.
• Observe work performance to assess body mechanics, determine risk, and plan mitigation.
• Document employee treatments and coach for continuous improvement.
• Understand OSHA recordkeeping rules as they pertain to first aid.
• Address discomfort through education and job-specific coaching to reduce injuries.
• Assist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations.

BLS/CPR Certification

Discipline licensure/certification

BOC certified or eligible

Education

Bachelor's or Master's in Athletic Training

Associates degree as PTA with licensure

Bachelors in Exercise Science / Kinesiology / Allied Health

2 years military healthcare experience
