Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a registered nurse (PRN) to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of assigned patients. You will collaborate with an interprofessional team, perform IV access, and use EHRs to access treatment plans.

Responsibilities include implementing care plans, educating patients, and applying evidence-based practice while maintaining safety. Department is OP IV Therapy; day shift availability may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program or equivalent for licensing.
• RN license required (state varies).
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supports the care of the patient and addresses patient/family needs.
• Collaborates with interprofessional team to resolve issues and plan treatment.
• Works with departments to establish the patient/family treatment plan.
• Implements and updates the plan of care and patient education.
• Performs IV insertion and peripheral/central line access as needed.
• Uses point-of-care ultrasound and IV pumps.
• Interprets department policies and lab results to manage patient needs safely.
• Communicates changes in patient condition and uses EHR for treatment plans.
• Applies evidence-based nursing practices for age-appropriate care.
