Job summary

You will respond to requests across inpatient units and manage vascular access devices, including PIVs, midlines, PICCs, and ports as skilled in ultrasound guidance where applicable.

You will educate patients and families on IV care, document thoroughly in the EMR, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure safe, evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• BSN required; RN license in Nebraska.
• BLS required; CRNI preferred.
• Experience with IV therapy and vascular access devices.

Responsibilities

• Respond to vascular access requests across hospital units.
• Insert and manage peripheral IVs, midlines, PICCs, ports as skilled.
• Perform dressing changes and site assessments for complications.
• Provide patient/family education on IV care.
• Document procedures and patient outcomes in EMR.
