Job summary

Helms Home Care in Moncks Corner, SC seeks a Registered Nurse to provide in-home infusion therapy, delivering compassionate, personalized care to patients. This PRN/home infusion role involves catheter access, meds administration, and patient monitoring.

The right candidate will have at least 1 year infusion experience, an active RN license, reliable transportation, and the ability to coordinate with scheduling.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license to perform infusion duties.
• At least 1 year infusion therapy experience.
• Reliable transportation and access to printer/scanner/fax.
• Strong communication with scheduling personnel.
• Expected to complete two patient visits per week.
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access & care (IVs, ports, PICCs) and monitor vitals.
• Administer medications including Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other meds.
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medications.
• Document visit notes promptly in the electronic chart.

Helms Home Care is searching for registered nurses who can provide infusion therapy nursing services to patients in their homes and desire to serve patients with compassion and personalized care.

Responsibilities:

• As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly

QualificationsRequirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license with competent in the duties described above
• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
• Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel
• Expect to do 2 visits per week
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
