Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a PRN Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to support multiple Arlington-area locations. This role offers 0-19 hours per week, with a Monday–Friday schedule, and no weekend or major holiday duties. Level 2 or Sr based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license and current state registration.
• 3–5 years nursing experience, preferably in oncology.
• Current BLS certification; oncology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care.
• Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching materials.
• Prepare and administer therapies under physician supervision.
• Administer medications and blood products with correct dosages and routes.
• Ensure pre-authorization and consent forms where applicable.
• Modify dose by assessing labs and consulting the physician.
• Perform venipuncture and manage central lines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments.
• Understand reimbursement procedures and charge capture.
