Job summary

Texas Oncology in Arlington, TX is seeking a full-time Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team. The position offers a Mon-Fri schedule, 8:30am-5pm, with no weekends or major holidays. This role can be level 2 or Sr based on experience.

Under minimal supervision, the RN provides professional nursing care in an oncology setting, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. Prior oncology experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• RN license and current registration in practicing state.
• 3-5 years nursing experience, oncology experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Oncology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care per standards.
• Prepares and administers therapies under physician supervision.
• Performs venipuncture and maintains central lines catheter devices.
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient care and treatments.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to meet patient/family needs.
