Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Dallas Presbyterian location. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm with no weekends, call, or major holidays. Level 1, 2, or Sr based on experience.

Responsibilities include patient care, therapy administration, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team. Ideal candidates have an accredited nursing degree, RN license, BLS, and oncology experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license in practicing state.
• 0-3 years oncology preferred for Level 1.
• BLS certification current.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote the continuity of care.
• Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching materials.
• Prepare and administer therapies under physician supervision.
• Administer medications and blood products with correct dosages and routes.
• Ensure pre-authorization and consent forms where applicable.
• Assist with dose modification by patient assessment and labs.
• Perform venipuncture, access ports, maintain central lines.
• Maintain documentation and charge capture.
