Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health in New Mexico is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive psychiatric care in a residential treatment setting, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. The clinician will collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.

The role requires a Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing, PMHNP board certification, and an active NM APRN license with DEA prescriptive authority.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Two years of experience working as a PMHNP is preferred.
• Board Certification as PMHNP.
• Behavioral health or addiction treatment experience preferred.
• Active and unrestricted APRN license in New Mexico.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in New Mexico.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with behavioral health experience to join our team. The clinician will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, to patients with a variety of mental health conditions in a residential treatment setting in addition to history and physicals and medical follow-up. This role involves collaborating with our team of psychiatrists other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients

• Monday - Friday and one weekend per month schedule. Call duty as needed.
• This is an in-person position. Must be within commuting distance of Santa Teresa, NM.
