Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is seeking a PRN ICU Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy 20+ bed unit. You will manage life-saving interventions across MICU, SICU, CVICU, Neuro, and Trauma settings, with support from on-site intensivists and a Level III Trauma Center designation.

You will ensure safety, privacy, and family education while maintaining licensure and following best-practice nursing models.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (diploma/ADN/BSN).
• Texas RN license or compact with ability to obtain TX license within 90 days.
• Current BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality ICU nursing care and discharge planning.
• Monitor patient status, document interventions, and escalate as needed.
• Administer medications per policy and state/federal regulations.
• Assist physicians with exams, tests, and procedures; enforce infection control.
