Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress in Cypress, Texas, is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to deliver high-level patient care in a 20+ bed unit, including MICU/SICU/CVICU teams. The role emphasizes advanced life-support interventions and collaborative care with on-site intensivists.

You will join a nationally recognized team, maintain licensure, and participate in performance improvements while earning a competitive compensation package. Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 7p-7a, rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program (Diploma/Associate/Bachelor).
• Texas RN license; Multi-State Compact acceptable with Texas licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred.
• 1 year of clinical Critical Care ICU experience as an RN in a hospital.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate ICU nursing care.
• Monitor patient status, document interventions, escalate concerns.
• Administer medications safely per policies and laws.
• Assist physicians with exams, tests, and procedures; maintain infection control.
• Support patient and family education; protect privacy and respect cultural values.
