Job summary

Longview Regional Medical Center is seeking a motivated RN for PRN status to provide patient-centered care across the nursing process, from assessment to evaluation. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to deliver high-quality care in a busy facility, adhering to protocols, safety standards, and patient education.

Qualifications

• RN license in applicable state required.
• BCLS required.
• ACLS preferred.
• PALS preferred.
• NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately.
• Monitors and administers prescribed medications with documentation.
• Collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and adjust care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Documents patient care thoroughly in the medical record.
• Engages in professional development to maintain clinical competency.
• Performs duties as assigned and supports quality improvement initiatives.
• Critical Care RN duties include managing ventilators and life-support equipment.
