Job summary

Longview Regional Medical Center is interviewing for a Registered Nurse in the ICU on FT Nights. The RN provides patient-centered care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation, coordinating with physicians and the care team to ensure outcomes.

The role emphasizes infection control, safety, and education for patients and families. Qualifications include RN licensure and 0–2 years in clinical nursing or student rotations; ACLS/PALS may be preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license is required and state licensure/compact state licensure preferred.
• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings clearly.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.
• Collaborates with care team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions.
