Job summary

Longview Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN PRN to join our compassionate team. You’ll provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinate with physicians and staff, and support families throughout the care journey.

This role requires 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience, a valid RN license, and BCLS certification; ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred. You’ll administer medications, assist during procedures, ensure patient safety, and participate in quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in clinical nursing or student rotations in acute care.
• Active RN license in the appropriate state.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• Ability to provide patient-centered, team-based care.
• Strong documentation and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.
• Assess patients thoroughly and document findings; report changes to care team.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency and scope.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with the team.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR and code team activities.
