Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a PRN dishwasher to support the Culinary Department at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. You will maintain sanitary conditions, clean and sanitize dishes, and assist with overall housekeeping to meet hospital and regulatory standards.

The role requires a Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification by the first day of work and the ability to follow safety procedures. Shifts include mornings and nights, with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Requires Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification by first day of work (Utah/Idaho).
• Reads color coded labels and chemicals and follows written and verbal instructions.
• Operates housekeeping equipment and dish machine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes.
• Collect patient tray carts from hospital floors.
• Clean and disinfect assigned areas including dining areas.
• Use cleaning chemicals per Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
• Dispose of infectious waste and trash properly.
• Operate and maintain the dish machine and related equipment.
