Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado is seeking a part-time dishwasher/housekeeping team member to keep the culinary area sanitary, safe, and clean in alignment with hospital, Health Department and Joint Commission standards.

You will wash dishes, collect patient tray carts from floors, disinfect dining areas, handle cleaning chemicals per safety rules, and operate equipment like the commercial dishwasher.

Qualifications

• Cleans and sanitizes dishes per department procedures.
• Demonstrates ability to read and follow written directions and safety labels.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes dishes
• Collects carts with patient trays from hospital floors
• Cleans and disinfects assigned areas including dining areas
• Uses cleaning chemicals properly according to Joint Commission and OSHA standards
• Understands procedures and properly disposes of infectious waste and trash
• Operates and maintains assigned equipment (e.g. commercial dishwasher) according to established procedures
