Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our hospital team as a PRN provider. You will optimize medication therapy, support physicians and nurses, and participate in quality improvement, education, and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree or equivalent required with active Missouri pharmacist license.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in a hospital pharmacy environment preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve medication-related issues including interactions and dosing concerns.
• Counsel patients and caregivers on safe medication use and therapy goals.
• Participate in departmental clinical initiatives, quality improvement, and education.
