Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a PRN Hospice CNA to serve Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties. The role delivers compassionate, in-home hospice care, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring comfort for seniors in their own homes.

You will follow each patient’s care plan, help with bathing, dressing, meals and companionship, monitor health, and report changes to a supervisor. Requires SC CNA, CPR, and a valid driver’s license; competitive pay offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; South Carolina CNA certificate required.
• Minimum 1 year CNA experience; hospice experience preferred.
• CPR certification required; valid driver’s license and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides services as stated in each patient's hospice care plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
