Job summary

Interim HealthCare is hiring a PRN Home Health Aide (HHA) / CNA to serve Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester Counties. Provide personal care and companionship to seniors in their homes, helping with daily living activities and mobility while keeping clients safe.

We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay and 1:1 client ratios, with online training and CEU opportunities. Requires active SC CNA license, CPR, and reliable transportation; Vaccination card preferred.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in South Carolina is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility.
• Compassionate, good communicator and team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors in their homes.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, and transportation.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and report changes to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe home environment and engage clients in activities.

A few must-haves for Home Health Aides:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)and active CNA LICENSEin South Carolina
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred.
• CPR certification
• Covid-19 vaccination card
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
