Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) / CNA to serve seniors in Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester Counties. You’ll join a family of caregivers and help clients live safely at home with compassionate, one-on-one support.

We offer weekly pay, 1:1 client ratios, flexible scheduling, online CEUs, and perks through Insperity. Requires SC CNA license, CPR, and valid driver’s license. Vaccination card and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and active SC CNA license.
• Minimum six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Covid-19 vaccination card required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, good communicator, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to help seniors live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and report concerns to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Engage clients in activities like puzzles, reading and hobbies.
