Responsibilities include applying state scope-of-practice, evaluating function, helping develop plans, ensuring progress, and teaching patients and caregivers. A weekend rotation is required; valid license and CPR are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech Therapist in the state of residence.
• Valid CPR certification required.
• Current driver's license and reliable vehicle or transport.
• Ability to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws.
• Evaluates patient function and assists in therapy plan development.
• Treats patients to communicate effectively and improve function.
• Instructs patient, family, and caregiver in speech therapy activities.
