Job summary

Optum is seeking a Speech Therapist in Indiana to assess and treat speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders. You will develop individualized treatment plans, perform evidence-based interventions, and monitor patient progress in collaboration with the health care team.

The role requires state licensure, a valid driver's license, and weekend rotation availability. CPR certification is preferred or obtainable within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
• Current driver’s license or access to reliable transportation.
• CPR certification (preferred) or able to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive impairments to determine a treatment plan.
• Provide interventions to improve communication and related abilities.
• Document patient progress and communicate with care team.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques.
• Maintain professional conduct and ensure care within state practice.
