Job summary

Caretenders, part of the LHC Group within the Optum family, is seeking a Speech Therapist for home health on a PRN basis. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy to improve communication and swallowing.

Responsibilities include coordination with the care team, documenting progress, and educating patients and families. Compensation is hourly with benefits per eligibility.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech Therapist in the home state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy within the scope of practice and in coordination with the health care team.
• Assess patient function and assist in developing therapy plans.
• Treat patients to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and progress.
