Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare in the Dallas area is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver one-on-one therapy in patients’ homes, helping them improve mobility and independence. The role offers a flexible, self-managed schedule and opportunities for meaningful, patient-centered care.

Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you’ll assist with therapeutic exercises, monitor progress, educate families, and document visits.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license (required).
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
