Job summary

Varco Home Health seeks a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to provide one-on-one therapy in patients' homes across the DFW area. This PRN role offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to balance family life with meaningful home health care.

You will work under a Physical Therapist, help patients improve strength, mobility and independence, educate families, document visits, and ensure safety and quality of care. Previous home health experience is preferred, Texas PTA license required.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
