Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare seeks a PT Assistant to deliver one-to-one, in-home physical therapy in Amarillo, TX and surrounding areas. This PRN role supports patients’ mobility, independence, and quality of life with care directed by a licensed Physical Therapist.

You will educate patients and caregivers, document visits, and adapt plans to meet functional goals. A Texas PTA license is required, and home health experience is preferred for optimal fit.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license is required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
