Signature Healthcare at Home in Washington is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to serve Whatcom, Skagit and Island Counties on an as-needed basis. The role offers flexible scheduling with Monday–Friday daytime visits and self-directed scheduling within the territory.

Responsibilities include providing direct PT services under the direction of a licensed PT, ensuring documentation, and assisting patients with therapeutic exercises and device training.

Formación

• Licensed to practice in Washington State.
• Active BLS CPR certification.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and access to transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct physical therapy as directed by the PT and per physician’s plan of care.
• Treat patients to relieve pain, restore function, and maintain maximum performance.
• Assist patients in therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers and prosthetic training.
• Utilize modalities such as heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound and massage.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition.
• Instruct patients in care and use of mobility aids and assistive devices.
• Maintain timely clinical notes and documentation for the patient record.
