Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver one-on-one therapy in patients' homes in the Lubbock area. You will work under a Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, balance, and independence with personalized exercises and safety coaching.

The role offers flexible, self-managed scheduling and meaningful, patient-focused care. A Texas PTA license is required, with home health or Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
