Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a Texas-licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN role in Lubbock and surrounding areas. You’ll provide one-on-one therapy in patients’ homes under the direction of a Physical Therapist, helping clients improve strength, mobility and independence.

The position offers a flexible, self-managed schedule with meaningful, patient-focused care and consistent patient volume. Enjoy independence in the field and the opportunity to support home-based recovery.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Texas PTA license.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
