Job summary

Addus HomeCare, Inc. is seeking an attentive Registered Nurse to support patients in their homes. The role emphasizes independence, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive in-home care, with supervisory visits and patient education integral to the responsibilities.

The RN will complete Starts of Care, coordinate with Case Managers, and ensure high-quality client service while traveling locally in the service area.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Must be able to travel locally in own vehicle with valid driver's license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Enable patients to stay independent at home.
• Perform supervisory visits to evaluate care plans and supervise service delivery.
• Complete initial Starts of Care.
• Present educational in-service trainings.
• Communicate with Case Managers and care team.

As an Addus Nurse (Registered Nurse), you will:

• Enable patients to stay independent while they remain in their own homes.
• Perform routine supervisory visits to evaluate the plan of care and supervise delivery of excellent client service.
• Complete initial Starts of Care.
• Present educational in-service trainings
• Communicate with Case Managers and other members of the care team

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current RN licensure.
• 2 years of nursing experience.
• Must be able to travel locally in your own vehicle, and possess a valid driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance coverage.
