Qualifications

• Knowledge of histology methods and disease correlation.
• Ability to follow protocols for fixation and staining.
• Experience with specimen processing and staining procedures.
• Familiarity with accreditation and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process specimens for gross and microscopic examination.
• Assist in frozen section preparation for rapid diagnosis.
• Perform histology and cytology procedures with quality control.
• Maintain traceability of samples, blocks, and slides.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and address issues promptly.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and policy reviews.
• Train and mentor department personnel as requested.
